Backpacks for Christina House Theatre Benefit

The Leadership Class of 2010 chose to support Christina House, Columbiana County's domestic violence shelter. Their goal was to supply Christina House with 40 backpacks filled with a pillow, blanket, teddy bear, coloring books and crayons, toys, personal hygene supplies, etc. for the children at the shelter.

Through a Benefit night of "Smoke on the Mountain, A Homecoming" at the Salem Community Theatre and both monetary and item donations, the class was able to send the 40 backpacks. They were also able to donate 10 fully stocked diaper bags and almost $3000.00 as well.
